Forthcoming Events 2026/27

The RHS has just announced the following information about its forthcoming shows schedule.

Here are the dates for upcoming RHS shows, including the

RHS Malvern Spring Festival (May 7-10, 2026), RHS Chelsea Flower Show (May 19-23, 2026), RHS Badminton Flower Show (July 8-12, 2026), and RHS Sandringham Flower Show (July 22-26, 2026). There is also the RHS Botanical Art and Photography Show from June 19 to August 2, 2026.

The British Cactus and Succulent Society, Birmingham and District Branch

Currently, the local Birmingham branch holds monthly meetings to discuss topics and keep in touch socially on the third Tuesday of every month (except December, which is 2nd Tuesday) at 7:00 pm for a 7.30 pm start. £3, which includes tea and biscuits.

The location is a bit tricky. Assuming you are driving north up Edgbaston Park Rd. you need to go past the signed main entrance to Winterbourne and take the next right. It is a gated, narrow gravel road that leads to the rear parking for Winterbourne staff. If you see lots of glasshouses, you are in the right place. Meetings are held in the first building on the right after the first parking area.

There is a £3.00 charge to attend, which includes free tea and biscuits. As of 26/ 11/ 2025, the list of some national events has yet to be finalized and will be available on the Cactus Society Website when available.

Nationally, the cactus society hosts fortnightly online meetings for members, who receive a list of events and can join each meeting for free.
