The British Cactus and Succulent Society, Birmingham and District Branch

Currently, the local branch are meeting monthly to discuss topics and keep in touch socially on the third Tuesday of every month (except December) at 7.00pm for 7.30pm start. £3 cover that includes tea and biscuits.

The location is a bit tricky. Assuming you are driving north up Edgbaston Park Rd. you need to go past the signed main entrance to Winterbourne and take the next right. It is a gated, narrow gravel road that leads to the rear parking for Winterbourne staff. If you see lots of glasshouses, you are in the right place. Meetings are held in the first building on the right after the first parking area.

There is a £3.00 charge to attend, which includes free tea and biscuits. As of 31st December 2023, the list of speakers has yet to be finalized and will be available on the Cactus Society Website when available.

Nationally, the cactus society hosts fortnightly online meetings for members, who receive a list of events and can join each meeting for free.
