Aeonium 'Chanel' is also known as Aeonium 'Cornish Rose Variegated 1' Hence we should conclude that this has parentage in Aeonium 'Cornish Rose' which was also known for a while as Aeonium 'Kernow Rose'  and is described by them as a hybrid bred in 2017, Aeonium ‘Cornish Rose’ is a result of natural hybridisation from Aeonium thriving on a Cornish clifftop. This particular plant stood out for its luminescent colour and lovely rose-like rosette-form. Taken as a cutting in 2015 we grew it on at the nursery, and it is one of the best performing new hybrids we have seen for some time and raised by Surreal Succulents, while the variegated form is listed by Best Aeonium
